Introduced in 1963, March’s patented magnetically coupled drive designs eliminate shaft seals and the many problems they can cause. Torque is transmitted by a magnetic field from the magnet attached to the motor, through the solid body, to the magnet attached to the impeller. Benefits of magnetically coupled pumps include:
• Leak-proof
• Efficient Friction-free operation
• Built-in overload protection
• Easily maintained
• Reliable Magnetic drive
The Ultimate in Reliability in Circulating Pumps for Industrial/Hydronic/Solar Applications.
March 809 BR Series pumps have a bronze head. Specific models are designed to operate with fluid temperatures as high as 350º F (176º C), such as in hot water systems or with hot oil for food products. Special designs can withstand temperatures up to 500º F (260º C).
Models are available for use on 12- and 24-volt DC systems. Maximum flow rates 7.2 GPM (.21 LPM).
